- Move to California
- Get a biomedical/biochemistry related job (I'm already working on this one and my cousin Val Pal is setting me up with her friend who works for a biomedical company)
- Gain residency in California
- Expand my resume
- Volunteer at a charity medical clinic
- Continue coaching swimming, if possible
- Take the GRE
- Take the GRE: Biochemistry Supplement Test
- Reapply to medical school

I would offer to help you with the CA thing, but I know that every school that you visit is going to want you and so it would be a waste of time. But you do need to visit CA at some point. The Northern part where all the normal people live.
